Course Description
Who Should Attend:This course is appropriate for Domestic Relations Section (DRS) financial workers and employees responsible for explaining support accounts or IV-A processing.
Overview and Focus:The focus of the presentation is to provide an overview of the changes affected by implementation of WO - 0204.
Topics Addressed:This presentation provides information regarding changes involving:
- the existing accounting buckets (TANF and non-TANF programs and subprograms),
- the discontinuation of the welfare sweep (creation of pre-assistance arrears),
- the uniform case-level processing requirements for account maintenance activities (exact match for the assistance case recorded on the IV-A Member History (MHIS) screen and the IV-A/IV-D Cross Reference (IVDC) record for aging, IV-A distribution, unsweep, and manual adjustments)
- the data conversion for Monthly Obligation Balance (MOBL) records and associated Adjustment Log record written to the Financial Transaction Log (TRNL), and
- the PACSES screens effected.
